ETF! artist Ayumi Matsuzaka @ Dinner FUTURE BEER - The Berliner Bier Cycle
Date: Wednesday the 8th of April
Time: 19:30
Participation Fee: 15 EUR + drink
Come and make original Bier together!
This dinner is a part of dinner event series Karl Marx’s kitchen @ PLU41
Firstly the whole event is the first step of artist Ayumi Matsuzaka’s project FUTURE BEER - The Berliner Bier cycle. You will basically take part in the natural nutrient cycle of beer production. After the dinner you will kindly be asked to donate your urine. It will serve as natural fertilizer to the soil where a special barley will grow. The barley will then be malted and eventually used to brew a beer. The whole process will be documented and shown as video installation at the exhibition „Neu Gold – Bier. Kunst. Alchemie.“ at Dortmunder U in November 2015.
Secondly the dinner will feature the creative cooking of Pierre Lejeune (head chef at Prinzessinengarten); home made miso soup by fermentation expert Markus Shimizu, and a tasting of local craft beers presented by brewing expert Cristal Peck.
Booking essential!!
