It seems that Jakub Szczęsny is unable to feel bored. Most of his projects are in fact a challenge: to furnish a plot of land several metres wide, to cultivate a garden on the desert or to transfer winter to the middle of the summer. His exhibition at Galeria Dizajn presents sixteen projects completed in the recent years in places as diverse as the English garden near the Branicki Palace in Białystok, a utopian patch of public space in a new park in Ramallah, Palestine, and a disused railway station in Narrogin in Western Australia.
