»The Jerusalem Museum On the Seam, which sees itself as a social museum of contemporary art, is presenting an international exhibition on the climate crisis under the title "Examples to Follow - Expeditions in Aesthetics and Sustainability". It is a traveling exhibition, curated by Adrienne Göhler from Berlin. The exhibition, which arrived in Jerusalem last month, features some of the most prominent voices in contemporary international and local art. The exhibition shows 102 artists from 27 countries, including Israel, Germany, China, USA, Cuba, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Poland, Afghanistan, France, Denmark, Brazil, Spain, South Africa, Switzerland, the Netherlands and South Korea. The exhibition was first shown in Berlin in 2010 and has since traveled around the world. Wherever it is shown, several local artists take part in the exhibition and address the ecological challenges in their local context. In floods, deforestation, climate change and biodiversity loss - these and more various layers directly affect the universe in which we live. "The term climate crisis is intended to convey the urgency of tackling the problem. Now more than ever, with the fires and floods that are sweeping the world and knocking on our door, we must act quickly and decisively to reduce our environmental footprint." The exhibition aims to promote a vision of living sustainably. They emphasizes the idea that everyone can be part of the revolution and work to save the climate. In a unique collaboration, the Museum on the Seam and the Center for Contemporary Art Pyramida in Haifa are offering a joint and inclusive stage for an international exhibition, "which carries a message of sustainability on its banner and highlights such an acute problem for our lives and future generations." The Museum on the Seam emphasized: “Jerusalem and Haifa, two similar but distinctly different cities, confront the reality of living together in a complex and challenging space. We all share the same planet, regardless of religion, gender, race and nationality, and it is our duty to preserve, bridge and work together towards our shared future."«
